App to Eject Water from iPhone Speakers
Back to drowned iPhone speakers, the cheapest solution would be add a sound file that mimics the behavior of what is being played on Apple Watch. No doubt you can find multitude of samples available online. But if you prefer to keep the music app purely for listening to music, there is a dedicated to clear water out of the speakers.
Sonic is the free app available on the App Store with some in-app purchases. The app functions without purchasing the premium, which is offered with one time purchase or subscription. It also supports Shortcuts, though what would be the use case.
Again, I’m not sure why Apple hasn’t included the feature on the iOS — it’s clearly viable. And Sonic is probably not the only app offers such a feature. This post is more or less a recommendation of what is possible with an app, not the best app.
More people are taking their phones to the pools and beaches as the level and quality of waterproof have greatly increased on the smartphones. Back in those days, I’ve seen people excited to use the new waterproof smartphones as “waterproof compact camera”, and I think it was a fitting use case. If you are one of those people, now you have a faster way to get the water out of the speakers.
